Yum! The first Lichenwood garden salad was a big hit at dinnertime on the Solstice. Romaine, red lettuce, dill, basil, lemon balm, chive stems and flowers, heartsease, calendula, and nasturtium combined to make a lively offering full of contrasting fresh tastes. I like to dress my fresh salads in homemade balsamic vinaigrette.
Comfrey leaves and flowers have been infusing in extra virgin olive oil since the New Moon. It won't be long until all the Southeast facing windowsills are filled with infusing oils. Calendula is just now bursting into bloom, and I picked a small harvest of Self Heal for oil infusion. Those color-filled mason jars are on the way.
now it brings to mind the Lichenwood I visited. Trying to ANCHOR in the face of the Uranian standstill ...

LOL. Well things did not remain as stable throughout the day yesterday. Uranus did bring some sudden unexpected changes in the form of a SINKHOLE next the wellhead. For details check your email! I may blog this as I do have pix.
