Last year's Pumpkin vine produced beautiful male flowers, but no female blossoms. This year's vine is much happier in its new home by the edge of the woods, sprawling over the backyard lawn. As I hoped, the plant has responded to the compost enriched circular garden space by producing flowers of both sexes!
This male flower rises from the vine on a long slender stem and has a central stamen.
Here is the female Pumpkin flower. The female flowers have multiple stigma in the center. They have shorter stems with small swollen potential fruit immediately behind the flower.
Here is picture after pollination when the fruit is set and begins to swell.
I placed the essence co-creation bowl next a female flower. You can see that bees were busy at their pollination task.
Pumpkin flower essence clears the pathways of the mind of all doubt. When we let go of skepticism, faith takes over. Once these emotional roadblocks are cleared, we can move forward.
